The company

A builder of original technology.

Soobeezo is not a services shop and not an outsourcing house. We are a product company — we own what we make, we carry it from idea to production, and we stand behind it in the market.

Mission

To build and own AI products that make African institutions and businesses measurably better at what they do.

That means shipping software rather than recommendations — carrying our own ideas from research through to production, and standing behind them in the market.

Vision

A Kigali that exports technology, not talent — and a generation of AI companies built from here.

We want the default answer to “where was this built?” to be Africa — and for Soobeezo to be one of the reasons that answer stopped being surprising.

Our divisions

Research

Our researchers live at the edge of what models can do. They read, replicate, and stress-test — then write down, in plain language, which capabilities are ready to carry real weight and which are still promises.

Engineering

Engineering owns the distance between a convincing demo and something an institution can depend on: reliability, evaluation, cost, security, and the unglamorous work of making software that keeps running.

Business Development

Technology only matters when it reaches people. This team builds the partnerships and commercial channels that put Soobeezo's products in front of institutions, operators, and users across the region.

What we believe

Build, don't broker.

Services revenue is rented. Products are owned. We chose the harder compounding curve on purpose.

Proximity is an advantage.

Understanding the institutions, languages, and constraints from the inside isn't a limitation on the market we can serve — it's the reason our products work where imported ones don't.

Durability over a single bet.

Product, public sector, and venture creation run in parallel. Each one teaches the others something, and none of them can sink the company alone.

Ship it, then be honest about it.

We'd rather put something real in front of users early and say plainly what it does and doesn't do yet.

The people

A small, senior team of researchers, engineers, and operators — most of them building from Kigali.
